Overview
As a veterinary or a veterinary paraprofessional (VPP) using the VetNOW platform, managing animal records efficiently is key. This guide explains how to log in, access client animal profiles, and update or add new medical records.

Steps to Access and Update Animal Records

    • Click on the name of the client whose animal’s records you wish to access.
    • This action will open a new tab with the client’s details.
  4. View the List of Animals

    • Below the client’s profile, you will see a list of animals associated with that client.
    • Click on the animal's name to open the animal's profile.
  5. Access the Animal’s Records

    • In the animal’s profile, we have the Records section below it.
    • You will see a list of the existing medical records for that animal.
  6. Edit a Medical Record

    • Click on any record from the list to open it.
    • Edit the details as necessary.
    • After making your changes, click Save.
    • A green pop-up will appear, confirming that the Record has been updated
  7. Add a New Medical Record

    • To add a new medical record, click the +Medical Records button located in the animal’s profile.
    • You can now create a new record with the relevant information.

Types of Evaluations for Records

When adding or updating records, you can specify the type of evaluation. There are three primary evaluation types available on the platform:

  1. Physical Examination

    • Used for routine check-ups and physical assessments of the animal’s health condition.
  2. Site Evaluation

    • Applicable when you visit the animal’s living environment or treatment site to assess conditions.
  3. Visit Summary

    • A comprehensive summary after a veterinary visit, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up actions.

Conclusion
By following these steps, you can effectively access, update, and manage animal records for your clients on the VetNOW platform. Accurate record-keeping helps ensure that all important medical information is available for future consultations or follow-ups.
