Creating an animal profile on the VetNOW platform enables veterinarians and veterinary paraprofessionals to manage patient information, medical records, and care needs more effectively. Follow these simple steps to create and store an animal's details.


Steps to Create an Animal Profile

1. Log in to Your Account

  • Open the VetNOW app and enter your login credentials.
  • Click Log In to access your dashboard. 

2. Go to Clients

  • Navigate to the Clients tab from the main menu.

3. Select a Client

  • Click on the name of the client for whom you want to create an animal profile.
  • This will take you to the client’s profile page, where you will see a list of animals associated with that client.

 


4. Click the Plus Button to Add a New Animal

  • Below the client’s profile, click the + button next to the animal list.
  • A new form will appear for you to input the animal’s details.

5. Fill in the Animal Details

  • Complete the form with the required details: Name, Species, Weight, Gender and Birthdate.
  • Add any notes and upload relevant images where possible to provide additional information.

6. Save the Profile

  • Once all details are entered, click Create to save the new animal profile.
  • You will be redirected to the client profile, and a green pop-up message will appear saying "Animal Saved".

7. Verify the Animal Profile

  • After saving, check the animal list under the client profile.
  • The number of animals will be updated, and the newly added animal will appear in the list.
