How to Schedule an Appointment on the VetNOW Platform as a Vet or VPP

Scheduling an appointment on the VetNOW Platform is a straightforward process to connect veterinary professionals with clients efficiently. This guide will walk you through the steps to schedule an appointment for a veterinary consultation.

Steps to Schedule an Appointment

1. Log in to the VetNOW Platform

   • Open the VetNOW Platform.
   • Enter your login credentials (email or phone and password) and click on the Login  button. 

2. Go to clients on the menu. 

   • Open Clients and click on actions on an individual client.
   • Select schedule an appointment. 

3. Access the Appointment Scheduler 

   • After clicking schedule an appointment, you will be directed to a form.
   • Select the intended animal from the dropdown part of the form. 
   • Fill in the required fields. 

4. Provide Additional Information

   • You may be prompted to provide additional details about your pet and the reason for the appointment. Add these in the notes section.
   • If you have any images (e.g., previous medical records, photos of symptoms), you can upload them at this stage.
5. Choose a Provider 
   • You will see a dropdown with available providers in your team. 
   • Select your provider and proceed.
   • Select appointment type, either "in-person" or "Telehealth".  
6. Pick a Date and Time
   • After selecting the service, the calendar will display the available dates.
   • Click on a preferred date to see the available time slots.
   • Select a time slot that works best for you. 

7. Confirm the Appointment

   • Review the appointment details, including the provider, notes, date, and time.
   • If everything is correct, click on the Schedule Appointment button. 
   • A green popup showing that the appointment with the client has been confirmed appears. You will receive a system notification on the app and a confirmation email with all the appointment details. 

8. Manage Your Appointment

   • To view or manage your upcoming appointments, return to the Appointments tab.
   • Here, you can reschedule or cancel appointments if necessary.
